Dr Abigail Taylor

They didn’t know it was impossible, so they did it.

Mark Twain

Abigail’s favourite thing about her role is being able to deliver the social and economic benefits of plain language. She is passionate about helping governments and their agencies engage, connect and communicate with citizens on complex topics such as climate change. Abigail believes that democracy strengthens when public documents use language and design in ways everyone can understand – and she loves that!

Abigail has a PhD in politics and human rights and extensive teaching experience. She is an expert plain English trainer, highly skilled in placing clear communication principles in the minds of decision-makers. Since joining our team, Abi has trained clients such as National Parks and Wildlife Service, Transport for NSW and Sydney Water.
